Sundry — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 11 September 2026
Sundry is an expense tracker for iPhone, made by Maxim Cucerenco. This policy explains what the app does — and does not do — with your data.
Your entries stay on your device
Everything you record in Sundry — amounts, categories, notes and dates — is stored only in the app’s local database on your iPhone. Sundry has no accounts, no sign-in and no server of its own, so the developer cannot see your entries. Deleting the app deletes this data.
The CSV export in Settings leaves your device only when you choose to share it, through the iOS share sheet, to a destination you pick.
What Sundry itself collects
Nothing. The app contains no analytics and sends no data of its own to the developer or to anyone else.
Advertising
Sundry shows banner ads served by Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as your IP address (used to estimate an approximate location), device identifiers, the ads you have seen or tapped, and crash and performance diagnostics. Google describes this in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and in the Google Privacy Policy.
You decide whether ads may use tracking. When you first open Sundry, iOS asks — with Apple’s standard App Tracking Transparency prompt — whether the app may track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. If you allow it, Google may use your device’s advertising identifier to make the two ad banners more relevant to you. If you ask the app not to track, that identifier is not available to it and ads are not personalised with it. Either way, your expenses are never part of it: they stay on your iPhone and are never shared.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Sundry first asks for your consent under EU law, using Google’s User Messaging Platform, and the tracking prompt only appears if you consent. You can change that choice at any time from Settings → Privacy options inside the app.
You can change your tracking choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Children
Sundry is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
