Puzzlica — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 14 October 2026

Puzzlica is a jigsaw puzzle game for iPhone, iPad and Android, made by Maxim Cucerenco. This policy explains what the app does — and does not do — with your data.

Your puzzles and photos stay on your device

Everything Puzzlica keeps about you — puzzles in progress, settings, which puzzles and backgrounds you have unlocked, and the photos you turn into puzzles — is stored only on your device. Puzzlica has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own, so the developer cannot see your photos or how you play. Deleting a photo puzzle in the app deletes its copy; deleting the app deletes everything.

To make a puzzle from a photo, the app asks for access to your camera or photo library. It only reads the photo you pick, crops it into a square and saves that copy inside the app. Photos are never uploaded anywhere.

What Puzzlica itself collects

Nothing. The app contains no analytics service and sends no data of its own to the developer or to anyone else.

Advertising

Puzzlica is free and shows small banner ads, and rewarded videos that play only when you choose to tap for one. There are no interstitial or pop-up ads anywhere in the app. All ads are served by Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK), and ad content is limited to material rated for general audiences.

Because children play Puzzlica too, every ad request is marked as directed to children, for every player. Ads are therefore not personalised, and Google applies its policies for children’s data to them.

To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as your IP address (used to estimate an approximate location), device identifiers, the ads you have seen or tapped, and crash and performance diagnostics. Google describes this in its privacy and terms and lists the companies it may work with in its advertising partners documentation.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Puzzlica follows Google’s User Messaging Platform rules for consent, and shows no ads at all where consent is needed and not given. Where the app offers it, you can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy options.

On iPhone and iPad, Puzzlica does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt, so iOS does not give advertisers your device’s advertising identifier. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device’s Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Buying Puzzlica Pro removes all advertising, and with it the data collection described in this section.

Your privacy rights in the United States

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and the other US states with consumer privacy laws have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information, including its use for targeted advertising. Puzzlica itself collects nothing about you and sells nothing; the only data this can apply to is what Google collects to show ads, described above.

Puzzlica’s ads are never personalised for anyone: every ad request is marked as directed to children, so Google does not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell or share it. If you would still like to record your choice, US residents can do so at any time from Settings → Privacy options in the app.

You can also ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to the address below. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.

Purchases

Puzzlica Pro and tips are sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system or Google Play Billing. Apple or Google handles the payment; the developer never sees or stores your payment details. The app asks the store only whether Pro has been bought, so that it can be restored with Restore purchases.

Children

Puzzlica is made for all ages, including children. It has no chat, no accounts, no links to social networks and no way to share anything from the app. Ads are limited to content rated for general audiences, and every rewarded video plays only after a deliberate tap. The developer does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy — a new advertising partner, or analytics of any kind — this page is updated and the effective date above changes with it.
